St Nicholas Church Blundellsands is very close to Crosby beach and as you would expect over the years the Church has suffered from the harsh climate that the Irish Sea has to offer. The main thrust of the project was to fully replace four of the South facing circular tracery windows and fully replace the North Aisle roof which had leaked for years. We also provided a water supply to the Church, kitchen facilities , automatic doors for disabled access and re-roofed the South porch. Quite a comprehensive project.
“The completed contract is a good example of careful conservation work and I know the church members are very pleased indeed with the result. Well done.”
