Emmanuels Church in Southport had the same problems that most Churchs experience after a while, in that , high level maintenance was very difficult to execute and problems with water ingress grew as the roof failed to manage the high rainfall driving in from the coast. The solution? Creation of secret gutters, wider valley gutters, larger rain water goods, directional rain diffusers and a complete re slate of the aisle, organ chamber and vestry. Going forwards an annual maintenance package will ensure a dry Church for years to come.
